Streamline Enterprises relentlessly champions innovative, energy-efficient, and sustainable technologies. Our recent undertaking with a high-profile client underscores our dedication to these principles.
Our client was entangled in the limitations of an antiquated Hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) refrigeration plant and energy-draining cabinets. They were seeking a modern, energy-efficient and eco-friendly revamp of their existing setup – a solution that needed to neatly slot into their existing space.
Streamline Enterprises devised a custom-tailored eco-solution, composed of four instrumental elements:
1. Phase-out of the HFC Plant:
The first step was to retire the dated HFC refrigeration plant, making way for a greener and more efficient system.
2. Introduction of Eco-Efficient Chillers and Cabinets:
The project hinged on the installation of two high-performance Intarcon 43kW Glycol chillers, paired with avant-garde JBG2 cabinets. These cabinets were equipped with glass doors, intelligent Dixell controllers, LED lighting, and energy-conserving EC fan motors.
3. Natural Refrigerant Adoption:
We made the eco-conscious decision to switch from synthetic refrigerants to R290 natural refrigerant chillers for the chill cabinets, with a CO₂ configuration adopted for the freezer rooms. These changes drove a substantial decrease in the system's environmental footprint.
Our skilled team carefully planned the system upgrade. The pre-existing cabinets were substituted with energy-optimized alternatives, ahead of the new chiller installations. This phased approach assured minimal interruption to the client's daily operations.
The innovative refrigeration solution we delivered brought about a significant reduction in the client's energy usage. Moreover, the employment of natural refrigerants and energy-efficient components demonstrated our unwavering commitment to delivering solutions that harmonise with our environmental ethos.
