At Streamline Enterprises, we spearhead innovative and environmentally-conscious commercial refrigeration solutions. This case study illustrates a recent project wherein we achieved a dramatic decrease in energy consumption for a client, accomplished through the introduction of cutting-edge technology and natural refrigerants.
Our client's operation was hindered by outdated open deck cabinets; these units were both inefficient and notorious energy consumers. The primary objective was to supplant these outdated units and to drastically slash energy usage in the process.
Our proposed solution hinged on a dual-pronged strategy to revolutionize the client's commercial refrigeration landscape:
1. Cabinet Modernisation: We swapped out the antiquated open deck cabinets with contemporary, energy-conserving glass door cabinets. These revamped units offer superior insulation and cooling efficiency, consequently leading to diminished energy consumption.
2. Advancement with Hybrid Cabinets: Streamline Enterprises championed the incorporation of Plug-in Hybrid cabinets utilizing eco-friendly R290 refrigerants. The adoption of these natural refrigerants contributed to a substantial energy usage decline, while concurrently lessening the environmental footprint, solidifying our pledge towards sustainable practices.
To ensure precision and flawless execution, our solution was conceptualized using 3D design drawings and Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID).
Our seasoned team oversaw the transition from the energy-draining system to the new, eco-efficient alternative. We seamlessly replaced the old units with the energy-saving glass door cabinets, succeeded by the incorporation of the Plug-in Hybrid cabinets that leveraged R290 natural refrigerants.
The deployment of this eco-efficient solution resulted in a staggering halving of the client's energy consumption – a testament to the effectiveness of our revamped refrigeration equipment and the utilization of natural refrigerants.
